Praying for a Cure

My-Hope3

I am excited to announce that Our Daily Bread Designs is a sponsor for the Splitcoaststampers second annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive to benefit those affected by breast cancer. Make sure to check out the Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Forums

There are daily challenges and many prizes given away by the many generous sponsors. You can even win one of the 5 $50 gift certificates to the ODBD store!!

ODBD will be donating a portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamps set  to the American Cancer Society.  To see the complete set and to order it, click on the Pre-Buy Button on the ODBD Home page.

My card is made with two of the wonderful images and verses in this special set, Praying for a Cure.  I have to say that while there are lots of "Hope" stamps out there.... this one has it all!  Beautiful images and uplifting sentiments and Scriptures!  It will be a go to set for me when I need such a card!

I used Papertrey Vintage Cream for my base, and Sandy Lion Designs for the DP (got in Big Lots).  The lace is from my stash, and I used Spellbinder's Ornate Artisian Tags & Accents for my sentiment panel.  I used THoltz Distress Ink in Spun Sugar, and also pierced the edges of my sentiment.  I added Cotton Candy Stickles to the pink ribbon on the body of the butterfly.

I used Niki's basic sketch from this week's Case Study, though I did have to change it up just a big to get things to fit right.  This is about as CAS as I can get! LOL!

Now... I have to admit that I cheated just a wee bit here.... the Bread Sticks in the ODBD Bread Basket have created samples to share using this set, and we are linking each other beginning 8am Wed. Oct 26. I had to post this early but wanted to still share my sample with the rest of the team, so with special dispensation from our Grand Bread Basket Owner herself, I am joining in with the rest of the team even though I posted early. :)

So here are the details of how YOU could win one of THREE $20.00 gift certificates toward stamps at Our Daily Bread designs!

The list of participants is below. Visit each one and leave a comment for each designer, and then return to the Our Daily Bread designs Blog to leave a comment there that you did so. You have until Thursday, October 27 at 8pm EDT to leave your comments.

There will be three commenters selected to win  $20 gift certificates  from Our Daily Bread designs. You have until Thursday, October 27 at 8pm EDT to leave your comments. The winners will be announced Friday morning on the Flashback Friday Favorites post.

Here is the list of designers who are participating (beginning 8am Wed the 26th):

I'm just going to say right out, this is gorgeous and fantastic layering, but what really caught my eye was the swirls. Very creative way to make them look like an extension of the butterfly. LOVE that!

Pink is beautiful and because of the cure pink is also hope!!! Lovely, lovely card...layered so nicely and so feminine looking. That lace just rocks behind those dies and the Psalm gently and lovingly highlights the Word. Blessings, and hoping your days are getting better.
