I really wanted to play in the Challenge this week over on Joan's Gardens. You have to use Just Rite Stamps and the prize is fabulous so a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right? LOL! So anyway, this is what I came up with. I used the sketch from Card Positioning Systems. I stamped the Siberian Iris image from Just Rite Beautiful Day with Memento and colored with Copics. I embossed the frame in gold and cut each panel with a Spellbinders Oval (Classic Small and Classic Large). I matted that with a scrap of Paper Co textured antique gold and a Spellbinders Label Four cut from a scrap of Always Artichoke. My base is Bazzill, the green patterned papers are K&Co and the purple is Memory Box Enchanted. For some reason my camera is reading this more blue than it is in person... it's more purple than it looks. I used a little gold braid, an Recollections brad and some spare cut outs of gold from a lattice pendant I had cut earlier and didn't use. I embossed one panel with the CB Textile folder and all layers are sponged with THoltz Angique Linen and Walnut Stain.
I incorporated the colors from Cupcake Inspirations for this card.
I am also entering this in the following challenges:
