Quilted Christmas Wishes

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge(SNTODBD22)! The assignment is Our Daily Bread Design stamps. Lori Ulrich is our challenge host. It is the time here in the states when many people are starting to break out their winter clothing and warm furnishings to prepare for cooler temperatures. Lori is challenging us to think QUILTS. You can create quilted patterns with designer paper, use actual fabrics, create dimension with puff paints, foam dots, or other medium, or even add some stitches real or faux in a variety of frames or patterns. You can also think applique. The main thing is to think QUILTS. If it is used in the designing of a quilt, it works. We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

I used Our Daily Bread designs "His Gift" for the sentiment and framed it in Spellbinder's Label 12. The ink and base are Night of Navy and the white cs is Gina K. The squares are punched with a Marvy punch from a Christmas pack that was in a Blog Candy I won from Traci over on He is Able. I sewed the squares and added some little country heart embellishments, SU! Cranberry Crisp ribbon and tied on a heart button with twine, fitting this week's Shining the Light Challenge over on Our Daily Bread designs as well. Hope you like my Christmas quilt!

Hi Grace~

I love this cool colored quilt! It is beautiful. Wait! Do I recognize some of that paper?! LOL It looks wonderful together! I really like the little charms on some of the squares. The stitching really puts this together wonderfully. The bow with the little heart at it's center is great! The quote is just lovely. Super job, Grace!
