When Life knocks you on your knees...

Hello everyone! I hope your week has been great so far! I am happy to show you a card that I made for Midnight Madness Sketch 76 and Our Daily Bread designs Shining the Light Challenge (Anything goes with Our Daily Bread designs stamps) as well as a few others listed below. I loved the sketch this week and decided to use ODBD's new release from the Full of Grace Series, "Pray". What a great sentiment!!! So true!!! I used Prima Fairy Flora Designer Paper on a Bazzill base. For my sentiment panel, I stamped the green mat with the ODBD Brocade Background in Old Olive and cut with Spellbinders Label 11. Then I stamped the sentiment on Gina K Pure Luxury cream cs, stamped all around the edges with ODBD Get Well image using Groovy Guava Ink. I sponged both panels with Adirondak Latte for a more aged look, and distressed the edges with various colors of distress inks. I sewed my panels with olive thread and added this olive trim in a pretty pattern. I added Prima bling and flower. I do love how this one came out. It has a very vintage feel to it. I hope you have enjoyed this card and more importantly, I hope that the sentiment has blessed your heart. Often it takes the big trials in our lives to take us to our knees. As our relationship grows with our Father, Almighty God, we love going to Him for everything! But as this sentiment says... when those big things in life really knock you down.... PRAY!

I am submitting this to the following challenges:
Crafty Pad - Distressed Edges (I used distress inks on the edges of all panels)
One Stitch at a Time - Embellished with favorites (Prima flowers and bling)
Cinema Saturday - Die cut or hand cut (I did both... labels 11 and panel 2 is hand cut)
Gingerloft - glitter or bling (both: glitter on flower and lots of bling)
Lil Red Wagon - Something old and something new (Old bazzill and trim, new stamps)
Pixie Cottage - Stitching
Wild Orchid - Stitching
Just Inspirational - Anything Goes
Pink Elephant - Brown and Orange
ABC - F = Flowers
Corrosive - No White Paper
Simon Says - recipe: 2 designer papers( yes... I have 2 plus stamped 1), 3 embellies (bling, flower, cording)
Shabby Tearoom - colors from inspiration piece to the right >>>>>
Mark's Finest Papers - Stitching real or faux (mine are real)
Our Creative Corner - Embellishments - the more the better

Have a wonderful week!

Grace,

I love this sentiment. Hopefully, people are going to the Father even when life is going easily by...to thank Him and Praise Him!
This is so true, however!

I love this card front! You have such a talent for knowing when enough is perfectly enough for embellishments on a card. I never feel that you are just adding them to fit a sketch...or qualify for a challenge. Your embellishments seem as if they belong with whatever you are making! How beautiful this is! It is stunning, Dear Grace!

He IS Able,
Traci S.
